Public Art

Our year-round public art initiative is about making the Hilltop a better, more beautiful place to live, work, and grow. We believe that everyone, regardless of income or address, is entitled to beauty and art, and we believe that having access to art can improve the quality of life for Hilltop residents.

When we started out in 2014, the Hilltop was very much an “art desert”, something we sought to change, and continue to do, one installation at a time. Our commitment to the Hilltop community is to commission at least one major public art installation annually, along with smaller public commissions throughout the year. We select only local artists, and we seek to provide opportunities for professional and emerging artists alike.

Check out each of the pages below to learn about past installations.
