The Procession
Tiffany Christopher
For the Common Good | 2018 installation
The Procession was painted over a hot weekend at Scrawl 2016 by Hilltop artist Tiffany Christopher. Tiffany and the Franklinton Arts District graciously donated the panel to us.
Tiffany Christopher, owner of Memoire Arts, is well known for her Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos) paintings, a style that celebrates life long ago and the remembrance of loved ones.
Tiffany, who has studio space at 400 W. Rich, has been recognized in Columbus Alive and Columbus Underground. Tiffany has had artwork featured in the Columbus Arts Festival, galleries in the Franklinton Arts District, the Short North Arts District, and Clintonville. She was a 2014 featured artist at Festival Latino Columbus and a featured artist in the Dia De Los Muertos exhibition in Mexico City at El Centro Cultural Los Talleres.
This beautiful art panel is part of our commitment to bring quality public art to the Hilltop, believing that art can and does make a difference in the community it resides in.
The Procession is located on the west facing wall of La Chaparrita, a Latino western wear shop, at 2655 W. Broad St.
