Eligibility: Open to Columbus or central Ohio artists only. Individual artists, teams, or organizations are welcome to apply.
Project description: Hilltop Arts Collective commissions a major public art installation annually as part of Summer Jam West, our community arts & music festival. Our 2022 theme for the festival and mural project is “Free To Be”. In that spirit, we want artists to be free to do something awesome and original with this mural project.

Location description: Located in the Hilltop's Highland West neighborhood, the goal of this mural project is to create an outstanding piece of public art for the benefit of the Hilltop community, while helping to beautify the West Broad Street corridor. The east wall of 2338 W. Broad Street offers excellent visibility despite strong building and housing density nearby. We want this mural to be an iconic focal point along West Broad Street, that is, for the 17 blocks between this and 2021’s commission.
